Local coastsiders, Danny Lopes and Danny Bretao (“The Danny’s”), have been the owners of iconic Farmer John’s Pumpkin Farm, in Half Moon Bay, since 2021.
Offering what you love about the farm like the tipi, Berner Day, the old tractor, and hay rides…and of course, the huge variety of pumpkins, we have also added a few new things we hope you will enjoy.

Located just off of Highway 1 in Half Moon Bay, Farmer John’s Pumpkin Farm offers a fun, family atmosphere in a relaxing country setting where everyone is welcome, including your canine pals! Come see the diverse varieties of pumpkins we grow, including the Atlantic Giant! Visit us and enjoy being outdoors on a working farm, with the sights, smells, and pleasue of pumpkins.
We will be OPEN starting at 9am on Friday September 5th, 2025. See you then!
We are pet friendly. No reservations required. No entry or parking fees.
Bernese Mountain Dog Day is always the first Sunday in October.
