Spring is in the air—and it smells like paella! BUY TICKETS.
Our paella fundraiser started as a small gathering of friends featuring paella by award-winning chefs Mark Peterson and Sonrisas Board member Clyde Hinshelwood 12 years ago and grew into an annual celebration.
To honor our coastal roots, we’re returning Sonrisas’ famous paella event to Half Moon Bay with a new, neighborly, more vibrant format.
In 2001, a small group of concerned community members came together in coastal San Mateo County to do something about the lack of quality dental care facing low-income communities, farmworkers, and others in need. Those founders raised seed funds to open a clinic with a single dental chair – and big dreams.
25 years later, Sonrisas Dental Health serves over 5,000 patients at 3 clinics, provides on-site dental screenings to another 5,000 children and older adults in San Mateo County, and continues to evolve with innovations aimed at fulfilling the vision of our founders: a dental home for everyone, regardless of physical, developmental, and financial barriers.
Sip incredible wines, soak up the outdoor vineyard vibes, and celebrate community—all while supporting an amazing cause!
This is more than a celebration—it’s a call to action. Together, we can ensure a dental home for everyone and continue breaking barriers to health equity.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of inspiration, connection, and purpose. Let’s honor the past, embrace the present, and invest in a future where every smile matters.
