The Coastside Aquatics Center is offering low-cost swim lessons to all children, teens and adults who live on the San Mateo Coast. Lessons will introduce students to basic personal life saving aquatic skills so they will be safe and enjoy being around water. Beginning swim lessons; skills that will be taught are floating, the flutter kick, swimming on the front and back, jumping into water, treading, and basic diving. Intermediate swim lessons are for those who can swim 25 yards (length of pool) with a front stroke and 25 yards with a stroke on their back and tread water. Participants should be at least 8 years old for the intermediate class.
All other classes, children must be at least 6 years of age and 50 inches tall (4’2″) by first class.
Monday to Thursday
Eight 30-minute Swim lessons = 1 Session
Fee: $55.00 each student – per 8 lesson session

Important information:
- Children MUST be at least 6yrs of age and 50 inches (4’2”) tall by first lesson
- Arrive 10 minutes before beginning of classes. Wear swimsuit to class (limited changing area), bring a towel. No goggles needed.
- Do not eat or drink 1/2 hour before class.
- Any registration cancellations 1-week before class begins, registration fee will not be refunded.
- You will receive no confirmation of your enrollment. If your payment is accepted, you are enrolled in the class and must show up for the class on the correct date and time.
