On August 30th, 2026 we will be having an event at the Pacifica Coastside Museum: The Pier: History and Celebration.
There is additional important information to the flyer here.
A) In addition to our large display panels with posters containing information about the History of the Pier, we are hoping to feature some paintings. Do you own or know anyone who owns or has created a painting that focuses on a topic related to The Pacifica Pier? Is there a chance the Pacifica Historical Society could borrow the painting to display it at the Pacifica Coastside Museum for a limited time? If there is any possibility, Please send an email to info@pacificahistory.org so we can contact you to explore a short-term loan to enrich our event.
B) We are excited to be able to include in our program, a local writer Toni Mirosevich who will read from her 2022 book Spell Heaven, which is a collection of stories and interviews on the Pier.
C) For over 50 years, The Pacifica Pier has created memories for many people. A major part of our program will be to have attendees share stories related to the Pier.
Description of the Event: Sunday August 30th, 2026 Noon-1:30 pm outdoor picnic. Purchase food provided by the Chit Chat Café 2:00 – 3:30 pm
