Join Wendy Figone, a Certified Forest Therapy Guide (ANFT) and Myofascial Release Therapist, for a unique morning that combines forest therapy practices with the ocean’s magic and the energy of a bluetooth assisted movement. Bring your lunch and linger to enjoy the beach.
We’ll start with gentle guided movements designed for everyone — no dance experience needed. Let’s release cortisol and rehydrate our fascial systems! From there, we’ll flow into mindfulness practices, sensory invitations, music, movement and sharing opportunities abound.

At Maverick’s, Wendy offers Ocean Therapy experiences—blending gentle movement, breath, and mindful connection with the coastal environment to help release stress and build community in a powerful, natural setting.
Wendy Figone is the founder of Somatic Ecotherapy, an ANFT (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy) Certified Forest Therapy Guide and Trails Consultant, expert-level myofascial release therapist, and retreat leader with a background in exercise and nutrition. Her work integrates mindfulness, movement, and nature-based practices to support nervous system regulation, resilience, and authentic connection.
She also works with teams and organizations to support nervous system balance, helping individuals shift from stress and reactivity into greater presence, clarity, and connection.
Wendy offers day-long and weekend retreats designed to help participants reset, reconnect, and build practical tools for managing stress and improving overall wellbeing.
She is currently pioneering the certification of ANFT Forest Therapy Trails in the Bay Area, helping bring evidence-based, nature-based wellbeing practices into parks, retreat centers, and community spaces.
