Event Update: El Granada Festive Cancellation Due to Rain
Friday, December 19^th and Sunday, December 21st, 2025

Hello neighbors, friends, and everyone in our community,

It appears that Mother Nature has other plans this week, so we’ve made the tough decision to cancel our outdoor event series. The threat of rain makes outdoor events pretty much impossible, and keeping everyone safe must be our priority.

The events involve power generators, AV equipment, large structures needing to be trucked in, lighting, and more. Add uneven terrain with rain, not to mention the risk of being stuck outdoors during one of our coldest months. We’re very disappointed, but it’s better to be safe and look forward to next year.

We did try to find an indoor space and keep it local. Ultimately, we could not find a solution, which has forced us to cancel.

Thank you to all who donated and signed up to volunteer. We still plan to collect toys, bring pies to Senior Coastsiders, and make a donation of nearly $2,000.00 to their agency.
