This one-hour television documentary looks at the unusual history of this coastside community just south of San Francisco. It focuses on how this beautiful area seems to have been frozen in time and space, partly as a result of the 1980 Coastal Act which inhibited new construction on the coastside. The spotlight is on many of the eccentric characters who inhabit the area and on the unusual history of Half Moon Bay and its neighboring communities.
