Descriptions of SFO runway use during the three requested time periods:
Now until October 2: Runways 1L and 1R remain closed due to construction. All arrivals and all departures will continue to use Runways 28L and 28R.
October 3-12: Runways 1L and 1R will reopen and most departures will shift back to Runways 1L and 1R, weather permitting. High winds will continue to necessitate use of Runways 28L and 28R for departures, as has always been the case. Additionally, Fleet Week activities will cause air traffic changes on the afternoons of October 8-12.
After October 12: All runways will be open. As has been the case historically, most departures will use Runways 1L and 1R, while heavy aircraft departures and all arrivals will use Runways 28L and 28R, weather permitting. All other runway plans (typically associated with storms or high winds) will be available and will be used based on conditions, per normal.
Most departures will use the 1s after October 3, except when winds, weather, or weight and size of aircraft requires 28 usage or the specific events like Blue Angels dictate otherwise. Runway assignment decisions are made by FAA/ TRACON in coordination with pilots and are based on operational and safety considerations. SFO staff do not direct runway usage.

Midcoast Community Council (MCC) Meetings ~ 2nd & 4th Wednesdays @ 7:00pm
The MCC is an elected Municipal Advisory Council to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, representing unincorporated Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Princeton, and Miramar.
Regular MCC meetings are on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM at Granada Community Services District (GCSD) meeting room, 504 Ave Alhambra, third floor, El Granada. Meetings are in hybrid format and the public is encouraged to attend remotely. All MCC meetings are open to the public, and are agendized and posted according to the requirements of the Brown Act.
