We recognize the traffic safety concerns expressed by residents along these corridors and remain committed to working with our CHP partners to address dangerous driving and reduce collisions. These winding mountain roads are enjoyed by motorists, cyclists, and residents alike. Our goal is to make them safer for everyone through proactive enforcement, education, and strong partnerships.
A reminder to all drivers: Slow down, obey posted speed limits, pass only when safe and legal, and respect others sharing the roadway.
Safer roads are a shared responsibility, and our commitment to these communities continues well beyond this operation.
