PODCAST. From the Pescadero Municipal Advisory Council (PMAC) 2024 Candidate Forum Moderated by League of Women Voters North and Central San Mateo County.

This forum was moderated by the League of Women Voters North & Central San Mateo County which is a non-profit, volunteer organization.  We are a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, increases understanding of public policy issues, and influences decisions through education and advocacy. Coastsider Margie Gater was the moderator.

PMAC has 5 new at large seats open. There were 13 appointed seats. Now, 8 people are running, 5 are incumbents (Skinner, Wallace, Erridge, Horn and Talbot) and three new people are running.

  1. Michelle, if measure 11 passes we’ll reduce the size of councilors from 13-5 and make all “at large.” If if doesn’t pass, we’ll keep the number at 13 with assigned areas of representation. Should that be the case, the PMAC board will probably reduce the size of our board with bylaws amendments and discuss the areas represented, themselves.
