Half Moon Bay, California 94019

We want to hear from you!
There are many opportunities to share your ideas and feedback as this project moves forward. So far, we’ve hosted an in-person public meeting, three days of drop-in open studio sessions, and several stakeholder meetings.
As we continue the project’s discovery phase, we’ll be back in the community in early October with stakeholder walkshops and a community design open house. See below for more details on these upcoming opportunities to learn more, share your thoughts, and help shape the project.
Can’t make the Oct. 7, 2026 in person session?  No problem!
Share your feedback online via a short an engaging SURVEY.
The Half Moon Bay Highway 1 Access and Mobility Study explores ways to make Highway 1 safer, reduce traffic delays, and make it easier to walk, bike, take transit, and drive through the corridor.
Whether you live, work, visit, bike, walk, ride transit, or drive through Half Moon Bay, your feedback will help guide future improvements along Highway 1. Please share your experiences on Highway 1, like what you enjoy and where you’d like to see improvements to benefit you and the community.
Led by the City of Half Moon Bay, this study focuses on the Highway 1 corridor from SR-Highway 92 to the north to Miramontes Point Road to the south. Â
