In operation since 1977, CORA maintains the only hotline in San Mateo County solely for intimate partner abuse support & services. As a survivor, you can expect trauma-informed, immediate life-saving help including:
- Crisis counseling
- Safety planning
- Counselors fluent in Spanish and English (other languages available through interpreting service)
- Options to learn about breaking the cycle of violence
- Access to CORA’s other services
- External resources
All of CORA’s crisis counselors receive training certified by the California Office of Emergency Services.
