The Montara Art and Music festival is a community celebration planned “by neighbors, for neighbors”.
Started in 2013 by Wendy Stokes as a welcome potluck for new residents, the festival has grown into a vibrant annual tradition filled with music, food, art, and ocean views.
Each year a small group of dedicated Montara residents volunteer their time to plan every detail – from working with authorities to obtain permits to securing local vendors and setting up family-friendly activities – all with the goal of celebrating the unique spirit of their coastal town.
Sign-ups are now open for the 2026 Festival.
Each space is $40. Vendors are responsible for their own equipment (table, tent, table cloths, displays etc.)
