Episode One: Interview With Kellie Morlock

Harry the Y interviews coastal singer Kellie Morlock.  She may work for Chris Devich at Edward Jones to pay for her music habit, but she is a world class singer who has sung for local band Blame It On the Dog and sings for the Oakland Interfaith Choir which tours all over the world! And then there is the Jazz Camp West project on which she has collaborated for the last 10 years. Most recently, she shot a video audition for TV show, The Voice, at J7 studios on Airport Road.

Kellie is also responsible for the fabulous CoastViews Music calendar which is an important part of our Coastsider Calendar.  Contact Kellie if you are a band or venue that would like to be promoted on CoastsiderRadio.com.  The Coastsider Calendar has a green “Post your Event” button, so anyone can post their event to our calendar.

We will catch up with Kellie again when the documentary for the Oakland Interfaith Gospel choir’s, “One Voice”, is released this spring, and, again, when she comes to town with the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir to sing at the Community United Methodist Church on June 4th, 2016.

Originally recorded 1/2016.
