LINK. The Complete 2018-19 Draft Land Use Plan is Available for Public Review and Comment
At the July 30 Planning Commission Study Session, the Planning Commission received an overview of the new Public Works chapter for the Land Use Plan Update. This chapter completed the Planning Commission 2018-19 public draft of the Land Use Plan Update. The 2018-19 Draft Land Use Plan is now available for public comment.
You can view the full public draft, ALL NINE CHAPTERS at www.planhmb.org. The public comment period will end on Friday, September 13 at 5:00 p.m. At the Planning Commission Study Session scheduled for Tuesday, September 24, 2019, staff will provide a summary of public comments received and the Planning Commission will provide direction on revisions for the final draft of the Land Use Plan. There will also be an opportunity for public comment at this meeting. Additionally, there will be opportunities for public comment at upcoming Planning Commission study sessions and public hearings on the revised final draft, which are expected to be held later in the fall.
The community is invited and encouraged to read through the draft material, provide questions or comments to staff, or request a meeting with staff.
