VIDEO. From the Midcoast Community Council (MCC) meeting on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026 at 7:00pm, as a hybrid meeting with remote comment.  Agenda. San Mateo County Deputy County Executive for the Coastside, Nicholas Calderon, reports.

  1. Surface water management plan (scope of work final review contract by 6 weeks through public works; funding identified and put aside).
  2. Surface monitoring program (done through SMCo Planning and Building, Director Monowitz is reviewing final RFP to contract for services in next 6-8 weeks; funding identified and put aside).
  3. Define criteria for when County would abandon a road due to earth movement (finalized and available for public review by Summer 2026).
  4. Guidelines for development within the zones as defined in the Cotton Shires report (finalized and available for public review by Summer 2026).

Midcoast Community Council (MCC) Meetings ~ 2nd & 4th Wednesdays @ 7:00pm

The MCC is an elected Municipal Advisory Council to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, representing unincorporated Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Princeton, and Miramar.

The MCC has at-large elections.

Regular MCC meetings are on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM at Granada Community Services District (GCSD) meeting room, 504 Ave Alhambra, third floor, El Granada. 
Meetings are in hybrid format and the public is encouraged to attend remotely. All MCC meetings are open to the public, and are agendized and posted according to the requirements of the Brown Act.
