PRESS RELEASE. From the City of Half Moon Bay May 15th, 2025.
The City of Half Moon Bay is seeking new members to join the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC). The BPAC plays an important role in shaping the future of biking and walking in our community by advising the City Council on transportation improvements, trail and street design, and policies that promote active transportation for everyone in our community.
The BPAC currently has seven vacancies, and we are seeking eager and committed candidates to fill each of these roles:
- Two walking enthusiasts
- One recreational bicyclist
- One commuter bicyclist
- One senior representative
- One youth representative
- One representative of the Cabrillo Unified School District (to be appointed by the District)
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a “Willing to Serve” Form online, or print it and send to:
