Get to Know the Senior Coastsiders' Pet Buddy Program at their Ice Cream Social

Through the Half Moon Bay Senior Coastsiders’ Pet Buddy Program, we help local senior pet owners by providing financial assistance for veterinary care, pet food, grooming, volunteer dog walking, and other pet-related services that help seniors keep their beloved companions healthy and at home.

We would like to invite you to participate in our upcoming Pet Buddy Ice Cream Social on Friday, August 21st, 2026 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the outdoor Courtyard behind Senior Coastsiders in Half Moon Bay.

We will provide the tables and chairs for your set-up as needed.

This free community event welcomes people of all ages and their well-behaved, leashed and/or crated pets.

We would be delighted if you could join us and share information about your organization, products, or services with our guests.

Many of the seniors we serve are homebound or no longer drive, making it difficult for them to access valuable pet-related resources.

By bringing these services directly to our community, we can help connect seniors with the support they need to continue caring for their cherished pets.

Guests will enjoy light refreshments, including build-your-own ice cream sundaes, while our four-legged friends will be treated to pup cups and special pet treats.

We’ll also have raffle prizes and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow pet lovers in our community.
