1. Coastside Chamber: Operations Coordinator
The main focus of this position is to support the operations of the Opportunity Center of the Coastside (OCC) and the Chamber. This position works directly with the CEO in varied tasks and activities to support the center, the entities within, and the community as a whole.
The Operations Coordinator is the key team member in supporting the daily activities of the Opportunity Center and maintaining the facility’s various components.
The general workweek shall be Monday – Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm with a one-hour lunch. Some early morning, night, and weekend work will be needed for special meetings and events.
PAY RATE: $75,000 Annually, Non-Exempt
Bilingual – English + Spanish preferred.
2. Coastside County Water District: Part Time / Temporary Maintenance Worker
Includes opportunity to become a permanent, full-time employee after 6 months
CCWD is offering a temporary maintenance worker position that provides exposure to a career in a Public Water Agency. In this role, you will work alongside dedicated District employees to gain both experience and insight into working in a local government agency that provides critical services to our community.
This role includes the opportunity, based on performance, to transition from temporary status to a permanent, full-time employee after 6 months.
Description: Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of more routine maintenance, repair, installation and other tasks related to District water distribution and transmission lines, meters, hydrants, storage tanks, and wells; reads meters; assists in the performance of preventive maintenance and repair of water treatment and pumping equipment; performs a variety of facility maintenance activities; and does other work as required.
