The World Championships for Dog Surfing, presented by NESTMENT in 2024 take place on the Northern California coast on August 3rd— where the concept for the sport originated — bringing together dog surfing talent for charity. Dog surfers are invited to bring home the gold.
REGISTRATION
During the event there will be a number of activities including the surf competition, partner tents and activities, and more.
The World Championships seek to adhere to the standard rules utilized by dog surf competitions across the globe. We do this in order to have the same general rules and expectations across events.
This year’s events consist of two components for surfing and dog fans:
1) Live and In-Person Dog Surfing Championships (See below for Details)
2) Virtual “Best Waves” Dog Surfing Championships (Entries Open to the Public Worldwide)
Both Live and Virtual components are FREE TO ATTEND or VIEW to Anyone.
Entrants also receive a VIP Gift Bag, with items such as dog treats, snacks, and more.
The Norcal World Dog Surfing event celebrates the best in the sport, but this event is not only for sport and for fun.
It’s also for great causes, like Rocket Dog Rescue and the Peninsula Humane Society. Help local charities raise money by having friends and family sponsor your or your team using our partners, using GoFundMe, Eventbrite and Crowdrise.
Please note: Organizer reserves the right to refuse participation of any entrant, at the Organizer’s discretion. In particular, previous participants cited for Poor Sportsmanship. Any entrant refused will be refunded entry fee.
