Beaucoup thanks to Ann Rothman for doing some hard work at the MCC on the problems this misplaced housing project will cause for our neighborhood, the Moss Beach community, and future visitors to our streets and Route 1. Her challenges to the use of HR 1449 to get around CEQA clearly show the statute does not apply to the location. We know the fix is in at the county and state, but contesting approvals and permits that gloss over the salient faults with the project provide glimmers of hope for a better resolution short of yet another expensive law suit.
