Mayor Robert Brownstone at 4:06:00 asks if “Equity Guardrails” are really in place. He observed that NON-HMB comments were 8-1 in favor of passing the ordinance as is, including the appliance “burnout” policy, while HMB resident comments were 3-1 against the ordinance, as written.
At 3:52:45 Councilperson Joaquin Jimenez suggests Half Moon Bay should let people vote on electrification.
City Council voted 5-0 to continue the public hearing on electrification until Tuesday, December 7th, at 7:00pm by Zoom.
