Last week, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office celebrated Captain Andy Armando’s decorated career with the Sheriff’s Office. Throughout his 26 years with us, Captain Armando epitomized what it means to be a leader through his proficiency, determination, camaraderie, and valor. Captain Armando created many bonds, friendships, and lasting memories throughout his years here at the Sheriff’s Office. Those who worked with him can all attest to their appreciation, respect, and admiration for him. We cannot thank him enough for his hard work and wish him a long and fulfilling retirement. Good luck in retirement Captain Armando!
