Service Level

The District has 3 fire stations:

  • HMB Station #40
  • El Granada Station #41

    Current El Granada Fire Station #41
  • Point Montara #44

The District provides three full-time staffed, advanced life-support engine companies, 24/7/365 days per year.

Each of the three fire engines are staffed with 3 personnel, one of which is a paramedic fire fighter.

Process

The Coastside Fire Protection District contracts with the State of California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, known as CAL Fire for fire protection services.

CAL Fire provides all personnel. The District owns all facilities and equipment.

The Coastside Fire Protection District Board sets the service delivery level.

Future of District

District is currently fiscally stable.

Completed the fire tower training facility. Local Fire fighters are being trained on how to use it and train other fire fighters.

Purchased replacement Aerial Ladder Truck.
