NOTICE OF VACANCY
Coastside Fire Protection District Board of Directors
Effective April 15, 2021, a vacancy exists on the Coastside Fire Protection District Board of Directors due to the resignation of Director Ginny McShane.
The Board is now inviting interested individuals to apply for appointment to the Board to serve for the remainder of Director McShane’s term which expires in November 2022.
The Board meets monthly on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, registered voters, and reside within the jurisdiction of the District (i.e., City of Half Moon Bay, Montara, Moss Beach, Princeton, El Granada, Miramar, and the surrounding unincorporated areas).
Interested individuals are requested to submit a written expression of interest to the District no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 21, 2021.

All interested individuals who are registered voters and residents of the District will be interviewed by the Board at its regular monthly Board meeting on May 26, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
The Board may, pursuant to California Government Code Section 1780(d)(1), make an appointment no later than June 14, 2021 or, in the alternative, call for a special election to fill the vacancy.
