Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

PRESS RELEASE. From Caltrans.

As of today, Saturday, Sep 7, the Caltrans District 4 site says there will be one-way traffic control on Highway 1 from Coronado Street (not Mirada Road as previously noticed) north to the Pillar Point RV Park Driveway (Capistrano) to repair the washout on the west side of the road at the jetty.

This will START on *MONDAY*, September 9th, 2024 at 9:00pm until *TUESDAY*, September 10th at 7:00am.

This schedule is currently set to repeat until at least Thursday night, September 12th.

It may continue longer, but they only publish their plans one week at a time. They have been canceling this work supposedly because they are waiting on permits.

It has also been reported that the sidewalk (or what’s left of it) will be closed during this time.
