PRESS RELEASE and VIDEO. From San Mateo County’s Sheriff Office Newsroom, Captain Rebecca Albin on January 21st, 2023 at 2:06pm.  Video from ABC News.

It is not the kind of news I like sharing here, but we had a shooting incident in Moonridge last night. I am attaching the official press release here, but to you, our community members, I want to assure you we have been working on this case since last night and we have resources from throughout the Sheriff’s Office tasked to assist.

I want to stress this is believed to be an isolated incident and not a random act of violence, but I also know to those of you who live near where this happened, it is still scary, and for that reason we are doing all we can to find the person(s) involved.

  1. So, he was shot, does this mean he’s eligible for free housing, oh wait a minute this was Moonridge already has that, can we give him some sort of other type of consolation prize, free car? thanks.
