VIDEO. From the San Mateo County Planning Commission meeting on October, 26th, 2022 at 9:00am by Zoom.
Chair Ramirez introduces the Tunitas Creek Beach Improvement Project agenda item and SMCo Planner, Mike Schaller, answers questions.
To understand the context, you may wish to watch the 10/12/22 presentation first.
Motion was made to approve the Coastal Development Permit, with the additional condition of approval that a lighting plan, including lighting operations, must come back to the Planning Commission for review and approval, before installation.
Original Tunitas Presentation given by SMCo Planner, Mike Schaller on 10/12/22.
The Tunitas agenda item was continued to 10/26/22 due to the fact the 900 page document was sent with less than 24 hours to review.
Tunitas Creek Beach Preferred Design
San Mateo County Parks, POST and Coastal Conservancy are excited to share the preferred conceptual design for Tunitas Creek Beach. This design reflects input gathered from many community members during virtual community meetings in October and more than 1,300 survey responses received since May.
