MEMBERSHIP

Five voting members who shall not be officials of the County of San Mateo; one member shall reside in each supervisorial district.

 

TERMS

Four years; term of office of each member shall coincide with the term of office of the Supervisor of the supervisorial district in which the member resides; maximum 12 years.

 

DUTIES

Reviews amendments to the County General Plan and Zoning Regulations, considers variances, subdivisions, and permit applications and hears appeals from the Zoning Hearing Officer.
