PRESS RELEASE. From the Midcoast Community Council (MCC) website.
There are four (4) seats up for re-election on the Midcoast Community Council at the November 8, 2022 election.
This is an at-large election where every voter can vote for any of the candidates. District elections (City HMB, CCWD, CUSD, CFPD) divide a jurisdiction into zones or districts and voters can only vote for the candidate in their district.
Terms are for 4 years.
At least one of those will be open, as the incumbent (Dave Olson) will not be running for re-election.
I (Dave Olson) would be happy to answer any questions about the process, what the MCC does, what is involved in being a councilmember or any other questions that you might have about running for office as a councilmember on the Midcoast Community Council.
Contact me at [email protected] or via my cell, 650.387.3618.
