PRESS RELEASE. From the City of Half Moon Bay.
Over the last five years there has been a revolution in the electric bicycle and related devices marketplace. E-bike usage is increasing and becoming a more attractive option for commuting and recreational use. The proliferation of other electric transportation devices such as skateboards and scooters is changing the recreation landscape as well.
Given the changes to State law and the growing popularity of electric options, the City is undertaking a review and formulating potential regulatory and policy changes to address statutory changes, the popularity of the Coastal Trail, and the imminent expansion of trail options along Highway 1.
The City is seeking your feedback regarding electric vehicle usage on the Coastal Trail, Naomi Patridge Trail, and Eastside Parallel Trail.
Please fill out the survey to offer your opinions and experiences with electric vehicle usage on the trails at https://bit.ly/3zLoIwf
If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact Jonathan Woo at [email protected].
