PG&E Plans for Hwy 92 Ground Survey and Gas Main Replacement on Johnson, Miramontes, Kelly and Terrace

PRESS RELEASE. From the City of Half Moon Bay.

PG&E Above Ground Survey Project

In the very near future, PG&E will be starting an above ground survey on Highway 92, Main Street (north of Highway 92), and Highway 35. For the actual surveying work, PG&E requested permission for night work, which has been approved by the City of Half Moon Bay. Survey work will take place from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. Marking/locating and drilling may be done during the day. Major traffic control will occur at the locations of work mentioned above. Areas of work in Half Moon Bay are shown on the map above.

 

PG&E Gas Main Replacement Project

In the very near future, PG&E will be starting the 8th Phase of their City-wide gas main replacement project. Work will take place on Johnston Street (between Kelly Avenue and Correas Street), Miramontes Street (between Main Street and San Benito Street), Kelly Avenue (between Main Street and Johnston Street), and Terrace Avenue (just east of Highway 1). Affected streets will remain open, but major traffic control will occur. The project map and tentative PG&E schedule are shown below. PG&E will perform their own notification to residents directly affected by the project scope prior to the start of construction.

  • Terrace Avenue – Mid-September to mid-October 2021
  • Street Restoration – Mid-November to mid-December 2021

 


 

Proyecto de estudio topográfico sobre el suelo de PG&E

In un futuro muy cercano, PG&E comenzará un estudio topográfico sobre el suelo en la autopista 92, Main Street (al norte de la autopista 92) y la autopista 35. The City Council of Half Moon Bay

The City Council of Half Moon Bay is the City’s governing body, and consists of five elected members. The Council sets priorities and policies, makes final decisions on all major City matters, adopts ordinances and resolutions, appoints the City Manager and City Attorney, and approves the annual budget.

City Council members are elected at-large to four-year, overlapping terms. There are no term limits in Half Moon Bay. The City Council selects one of its members to serve as Mayor and one to serve as Vice Mayor, on an annual basis.

The Half Moon Bay City Council typically meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month starting at 7 pm at the Ted Adcock Community Center, 535 Kelly Avenue.
