Pacificans Care’s Speakeasy Night is Friday, November 4th, at 7:00pm.

Pacificans Care is turning the Community Center into a roaring 20’s style Speakeasy this Friday.
November 4th from 7:00 to 11:00pm with an evening featuring live music, contests, auctions, games, great food and the famous “Speakeasy Special” cocktail.
Proceeds from the Speakeasy Night support Pacifica social service agencies including the:
Youth Service Bureau
Pacifica Resource Center
Pacifica Senior Services and
Pacifica Child Care
It’s not too late to join in the fun!
This year’s event is highlighted by music from the Jim Nichols and Friends Trio playing the great
standards of the 20’s and 30’s. Nichols, a well-known Pacifica artist, is a world-class guitarist having
performed at Carnegie Hall, on the Tonight Show and at venues around the world. He and his musical
friends will provide Speakeasy goers an evening of musical delights that will have you humming and
swinging all night long.
Speakeasy Night’s Live Auction includes bidding opportunities on fabulous items including a South Lake
Tahoe house with spectacular views of Mt. Tallac, a San Francisco style Crab Cioppino dinner complete
for 10, and Park Hopper passes to Disneyland. Auction bidders will also be vying for a 14 cubic yard
debris box donated by Recology of the Coast and two cases of Gold Medal wines from the San Francisco
International Wine Competition, among lots of other great live and silent auction items.
Join in the “Wine Walk” or take a chance in the famous “Chocolate Truffle Raffle” where everyone is a
winner! Wear your favorite “flapper” or “mobster” outfit and be eligible to win the costume contest.
Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be served all night along with beer, wine, our famous
“Speakeasy Special” and bottled water for purchase.
Tickets are $40 prior to the event and $50 at the door and are available from at Visions Seaside Spa,
1009 Terra Nova Blvd; Re/Max Properties at 450 Dondee Ave.; the Community Center at 540 Crespi
