Pacific Coast Television Celebrates 45 Years of Providing Transparency in Our Local Democracy and Free Professional TV Production Training

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

VIDEO.  Pacific Coast Television held their Spring Open House on April 15th, 2023 in honor of their 45th Anniversary.

Local leaders and community members came together to learn and celebrate community media, and how PCT helps provide transparency in our local democracy.

NOTE: When Coastside Buzz covers public agencies, we use PCTV video as it is original source documentation. In 1977, the FCC mandated that the brand new cable companies provide a public access channel for every US jurisdiction. Today, every jurisdiction and every public agency records their meetings; Public agencies such as the City council, sewer and water authorities, harbor and school districts, for example.

PCT Director, Marty Anaya, is interviewing, from left: Gus Mattammal of the Midcoast Community Council (MCC), Sue Vaterlaus of the Pacifica City Council and Tygarjas Bigstyck who is the Mayor of Pacifica and the Manager of their Safeway.
