New Sheriff Contract to Treat HMB Beaches as an Enforcement Priority

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

VIDEO. Watch Bob Nisbet (City Manager HMB) present the final Sheriff contract for the next 3 years @ $3.4 million. The use of private security will help with the closing various park gates, and fill in the sheriff gaps. Last weekend they had a domestic violence call that took them away from clearing Poplar Beach. The Sheriffs are buying a police 4-wheel drive for the beach, with logo, light and police communication capabilities. The City is also buying a 4-wheel drive public works rig.  There are also Sheriffs on bikes, now. Say hi!

Bob Nisbet also managed to add in a clause specific to HMB beaches an enforcement priority.
