“The California Attorney General has filed a lawsuit against AHMC Healthcare for violating conditions of the agreement to purchase and operate Seton Coastside, a hospital in Moss Beach. The lawsuit, filed in San Mateo County Superior Court, alleges AHMC closed the hospital’s emergency department and skilled nursing facility without proper notification or seeking an amendment of the conditions from the Attorney General, according to the California Department of Justice.”
Half Moon Bay’s Dignity Urgent Care
Dignity Half Moon Bay opened November 2024 for a 6 month pilot through June 2025. Due to a grant from San Mateo County the urgent care services are FREE to everyone. Translation services are available. Learn more about the clinic and the services provided.

Midcoast Community Council (MCC) Meetings ~ 2nd & 4th Wednesdays @ 7:00pm
The MCC is an elected Municipal Advisory Council to the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors, representing unincorporated Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, Princeton, and Miramar.
Regular MCC meetings are on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM at Granada Community Services District (GCSD) meeting room, 504 Ave Alhambra, third floor, El Granada. Meetings are in hybrid format and the public is encouraged to attend remotely. All MCC meetings are open to the public, and are agendized and posted according to the requirements of the Brown Act.
