VIDEO. At the 5/27/2020 Midcoast Community Council meeting Supervisor Horsley’s staff, Kerrie Dahlman, reports on the status of Census 2020 outreach by San Mateo County for the Midcoast.
In a previous meeting, the MCC expressed concerns that because Census mail was not being put into P.O. Boxes, that there would be fewer respondents, which would in turn affect federal funding for the next 10 years.
The Census 2020 field teams are back to work. They will now be delivering the Census to the unincorporated homes by hand.
Note that you can go online to fill out the Census (see below post on how it looks), or you can do it by phone.
