Medio Bridge Replacement Moves Forward As GCSD and PG&E Make Plans For Pipe and Conduit

VIDEO. From the 2/18/2021 Granada Community Services District meeting. General Manager, Chuck Duffy, answers questions.  GCSD is planning to move the small black pipe (5,000  gallons per day) off of the bridge.  The large black pipe is no longer in use.

San Mateo County is pacing construction based on PG&E Comment who are planning to keep their utility white conduit on the new bridge.

CDP with HMB  getting front of planning commission March or April.

 


 


When Will GCSD Be Able to Move Its Sewer Pipe Off of the Medio Bridge?

The large black pipe hanging off those brackets on the inland side is our old sewer main which is no longer in use.

The black pipe on the ocean side is the pipe that needs a (Coastal Development Permit) CDP to move.  This smaller black pipe is currently used by GCSD.

The white pipe is PG&E.
