KHMB – Porch Talk

Jeannine Clarks’ Porchtalk  is hosted by local gerontological expert and consultant Jeannine Clark. Porchtalk which focuses on healthy aging at any age. This show has been heard on the Coast through other sources since 2011.  She has lived on the Coast since 1991, having relocated from Louisiana, where she graduated from Louisiana State University.

Having graduated from College she was eager to explore the West coast, so she ventured out to San Francisco. Once in San Francisco, she began to explore the Coast, and immediately fell in love with the Half Moon Bay area. She eventually made her way down to Pescadero, where she lived for 18 years, and where her two children were born. They have since made their way back up the coast, and have resettled in Half Moon Bay.

As a Medical Social Worker, she has had a private practice for the past 20+ years, providing geriatric care management to older adults and their families throughout the Bay Area Peninsula.
Porch Talk first aired in 2011 at Pescadero’s Community Radio Station, KPDO. It is there that she discovered Radio, and the fun avenue it provided her, to share with the Community, information on aging.

Porch Talk moved to its new home at KHMB in 2014, and Jeannine is really excited about now being a part of Half Moon Bay’s neighborhood radio station.
