PHOTO-ESSAY by John Helmlinger. For my Eagle Scout project we put markers in the Odd Fellows cemetery to help people in locating where a grave stone would be. The Markers we put in were all odd numbers identifying every other plot as shown on a historic map. This was a great project my friends and I learned a lot about concrete, wood working, and the history of Half Moon Bay.
The Odd Fellows cemetery in Half Moon Bay (north side of 92, just east of Main St.) is the burial site of some people of local significance. The Johnston’s are buried there. They are well know for the house they owned here in Half Moon Bay. As well as R.I. Knapp who invented the side plow.

I would like to thank the Odd Fellows for advising me on this project, the Andreini’s for supplying me with concrete, and my friends who assisted me in this project.
Here are some pictures of the project:
Lots of garbage was picked up!
