Approve PDP-23-085, Coastside Hope’s application for a Sign Permit to allow the installation of a permanent identification sign at 248 Main Street, Half Moon Bay.

Coastside Hope is designated by San Mateo County as the primary community assistance agency for our service area (Montara, Moss Beach, El Granada, and Half Moon Bay). Our ongoing services aim to prevent homelessness by meeting basic life needs for food, clothing, shelter, and fundamental utilities such as electricity. We have been enhancing the quality of life for our neighbors since 1976.

The Planning Commission consists of citizen volunteers appointed by the City Council to make decisions or advise the Council on land use and property development issues. The Commission assures that new development is consistent with our Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, long-range General Plan and Local Coastal Plan, State laws and other public policies that advance the interests of our community.
