Out of the Route 1 planning freezer, another highway plug for HMB is thawing out. What a great recurring idea to back up more traffic in a location where traffic is already backed up. For those more recent residents of the coastside, the long-term developer-dominated urban mindset that rules HMB envisions a four-lane highway north from Terrace to where the road crosses the city line–past the sprawl of leapfrog subdivisions–so we can have four lanes of backups instead of two.
