We’re thrilled to unveil this year’s epic new logo for the 53rd Annual Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival, designed by the talented local design studio The GraphicWorks
A fun fact about this year’s design, it features the side-hill plow, a historic invention with deep roots in Half Moon Bay!
Stop by the Coastside History Museum to see a Knapp side-hill plow up close! 505 Johnston Street behind the jail, open weekends 10:30-4:30.
Invented by local blacksmith, farmer, and politician Robert I. Knapp, this groundbreaking plow automatically adjusted its angle to match the hillside, preventing soil erosion and making farming on sloped terrain more efficient.
