The Pumpkin Run by Senior Coastsiders has been a tradition in Half Moon Bay for many years and takes participants along the beautiful Coastal Trail overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
We are delighted to return to the streets and trails this year for our 47th annual race! For those who cannot join us in person, we’ll also have virtual race events. All proceeds benefit Senior Coastsiders, a local non-profit dedicated to supporting successful aging for Coastside seniors by providing opportunities, services, and resources that meet their needs, enrich their lives, foster their independence, and respect their creativity, dignity, and value.
Pumpkin Run Details
In-Person Events, Sunday, October 19, 2025, various start times:

- 6:15 AM –Â Bib, t-shirt, and pumpkin pick-up opens
- 7:15 AM – Half Marathon Start*
- 7:30 AM – Kid’s Fun Run
- 7:45 AM – 10K Run/Walk Start
- 8:00 AM – 5K Run/Walk Start
*Half Marathon has a 3.5 hour cut off
NOTE: The Start Line will close 5 minutes after the start of the 1/2 marathon and 5 minutes after the 5k distance start. Please be at the start line for the distance you are running or walking with your bib pinned on the front of your most visible layer of clothing. We can not guarantee the proper course support to anyone who does not start the race on time.
