You are invited to join us for Field Day, a unique once-a-year opportunity to learn about amateur radio.
What is Field Day?
June 28-29, 2025 the Half Moon Bay Amateur Radio Club (HMBARC) will set up an off-the-grid emergency radio station and participate in the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) Field Day.
Field Day is a two-day national event during which we contact stations all over the United States and Canada and demonstrate our ability to operate radio gear in abnormal situations and less than optimal conditions.
The public is invited!
Come see us in operation and learn about what we do.
Public visiting hours for Field Day will be from:
Saturday June 28th, 2025 at 11:00am-7:00pm until Sunday June 29, 2025 at 9:ooam-11:00am.
Where is it?
We will be located at 110 Higgins Canyon Road next to the Historic Train Depot and the road leading to the James Johnston House, about 1/3 mile east of Main Street in Half Moon Bay.
