OWN VOICE. ~ InPerspective by Gregg Dieguez —

The eagerly anticipated “Wildfire Scoping Project” commissioned last year with the assistance of RCD and money from County has reached the stage where findings can be presented.  The public presentation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 6-7:30pm on Zoom, with details below.

The need for this study was driven by local residents concerned about wildfire risks from eucalyptus, drought, increased dwelling density, and concerns about evacuation and other factors.  The results of this study are expected to frame wildfire mitigation efforts going forward in our area.

When: Tuesday June 28, 2022 from 6-7:30 pm on Zoom

At this meeting, the project team will present the results of a science-based assessment of wildfire risk and a suite of site-specific recommendations.
