“The Coastal Conservancy is leading the project. We just sent a letter of support in response to a funding request from the Coastal Conservancy for 4+$M to begin the planning, design, permitting review and vegetative management implementation of a project that is a critical evacuation safety project on Hwy 1 between the Tom Lantos Tunnel and Pacifica’s Pedro Point. It has been talked about for years and is now getting legs and getting under way. We hope for the best that it will get funded.” ~ Pacifica City Manager, Kevin Woodhouse.
