Bedtime Stories ~ Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

NOW A VIDEO!! / PODCAST.  Winnie the Pooh is such a wonderfully, upbeat and resilient character.

This Honey Tree story has an interesting genealogy. Originally, A.A. Milne wrote it in 1926, and it was published by E.P. Dutton & Co..  And Disney turned several of the original stories into an animated featurette in 1966. By 1974 Disney partnered with Little Golden Books. Bob Totten adapted the original text for this version of the story.  Pictures were created by Disney Studio. Sort of a Disney Flip book.

Pooh tries to get his honey. He observes, assesses, acts, pivots and reassesses. He is such a smart bear. And Christopher Robins (A.A. Milne’s son!) is such a smart and kind boy.

Teach your Kids to LISTEN and IMAGINE with Bedtime Stories

Prepare your child for a relaxing audio podcast experience. Whether in the car, the store, or before bed, let your child immerse their ear in their imagination. School is largely auditory. So, prepare your kid to listen and visualize a story without TV or video. Just listen!

Use Bedtime Stories as an INDEPENDENT READING TUTOR

Then, share the book to the audio. Listen and read. Allow your child to teach themselves to read. Using visual/audio anchor words your child will figure out the visual/sound connections by themselves. Eventually, they will be able to read the book to you all by themselves!
