Prompt

What comes to mind when you think of climate adaptation, and how can that be incorporated into Half Moon Bay?
* Climate adaptation means taking action to prepare for and adjust to the current and projected impacts of climate change. It can include things like designing roads and buildings to withstand higher temperatures and more powerful storms, designing shelters for people to gather during power outages, and making homes and neighborhoods more resilient through programs like CERT and Cal Fires Defensible Space.

The City of Half Moon Bay, in partnership with Republic Services, is excited to announce another year of scholarships. This year, we will be giving out two (2) scholarships of $500.00. Submit an essay in response to this year’s prompt for a chance to win!
