CFPD Deputy Fire Chief, Jonathan Cox, speaks.

Yesterday, the Air Station attended the Maverickā€™s Ocean Safety Summit, hosted by Pillar Point Harbor Patrol. This event provides invaluable training for big wave surfers and first responders, refreshing techniques for personal water safety and recovery techniques.
Providing a SAR demo and being able to talk with communities on what our crews do and how we can help is absolutely a highlight for us.
